BreakHawk Privacy & Security Statement
How BreakHawk protects the service and Customer Data, and what you're responsible for on your end.
What this covers
This statement is the security and privacy commitment BreakHawk makes as part of the User and License Agreement. It describes the protective measures BreakHawk takes toward the Service and your Customer Data, and the responsibilities that stay with you as a user or workspace admin. It applies to every BreakHawk account and workspace, regardless of plan.
What BreakHawk does
BreakHawk uses commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the Service and Customer Data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure or uninterrupted, and BreakHawk does not represent that it is immune from every risk. Where BreakHawk becomes aware of an incident affecting the security of Customer Data, BreakHawk will take reasonable steps to investigate and address it in accordance with its obligations under the Agreement and applicable law.
Your responsibilities
Security is shared. Alongside BreakHawk's own measures, you and your workspace administrators are expected to:
- Use appropriate account security, including strong, unique credentials for your BreakHawk account.
- Limit permissions within your workspace to what each person actually needs to do their job.
- Review workspace access on a regular basis and remove access that's no longer needed, including for former team members.
- Notify BreakHawk promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account or workspace.
Reporting a concern
Insert BreakHawk's approved security contact channel here (e.g. a security@ email address) so users have a concrete way to report suspected unauthorized use, as required by the clause above.
